Laser Hair Removal at The Bay & On Unley is a proudly South Australian owned success story. Opening our first clinic at Glenelg in August 2007 and after more than nine successful years in the western suburbs, we expanded in October 2014 with our second clinic on Unley Road, Parkside.
Veronica Denwick, the founder and owner of Laser Hair Removal At The Bay & On Unley, is a registered Nurse and has been in the laser hair removal industry for over 20 years.
Veronica opened Laser Hair Removal at the Bay in 2007 after she identified a need in the Adelaide market for safer laser hair removal for everyone and not just for medical reasons. As South Australia has no legislation in place to govern the laser hair removal industry, Veronica decided to establish her business based on the strict guidelines of Australian/ New Zealand recommendations, therefore becoming the only South Australian Laser hair removal clinic only employing nurses and not beauty therapists as a matter of clinic policy. South Australia, WA, NSW, Victoria and NT are not regulated. Queensland and Tasmania are regulated states.
What does this all mean for you? Simply, because South Australia is not regulated, this means ANYBODY can open a laser hair removal clinic. This is frightening as Class 4 medical lasers can cause a lot of damage and problems if they are used by staff that are inadequately trained.
Unwanted hair can be inconvenient and a source of low self-esteem. We understand your concerns and we want to help. Here at Laser hair removal at the Bay and on Unley, we have invested in the best available technology for hair removal and we spend 3 months training our nursing staff to ensure they are more than confident in safely addressing your unwanted hair needs. We have very serious concerns about the limited amount of training we believe some of the chain and franchise clinics provide their beauty therapists.
Client safety is our number one priority.
